Just before Christmas last year we had the absolute pleasure of collaborating with our longterm industry friend and supporter Annabel, founder of Love My Dress to launch our new ‘Emotion’ wedding veil collection. Annabel and husband Philip worked with us on the production and creative vision for this shoot.

Our ‘Emotion’ bridal veil collection is a celebration of preparing with family and friends on your Wedding day – an emotional moment to cherish and capture. It’s the time your finished look comes together and the veil often the crowning moment. We wanted to capture the the delicate nature of our tulles, lace and silk fabric through the beautiful photography and film of Zach & Grace.

The location itself was a contrast to the feminine dresses and veils we were shooting. Set in a stripped back hotel in Lancaster Gate we had so many wonderful textures revealing the buildings layered history, original features and soft lighting to play with. The juxtaposition of the venue and our collection worked perfectly together.
Our model Shay visited us prior to this shoot to have 3 of these dress designs fully made to measure, perfecting the fit and silhouette with our team in our London studio. A service that we offer to each and every one of our brides. We paired these design with 8 new veils and 2 bridal capes highlighting the ways in which our accessories can transform and personalise your bridal look. Each veil tells a different story and creates a different feel ensuring all of our brides find a design they love.
On the day our very talented photographers Zach & Grace scouted out all the best spots in this huge townhouse utilising the beautiful textural interest on the walls and ornate original features. Set against large windows with lots of natural light our veils and dresses truly came to life.
Philip of Moonwind Flowers created these beautiful sustainable floral arrangements using dried flowers in the prettiest colours to compliment both the setting and our designs.

On the day we were very excited to team up with Nadia and Emily from Portraits Bridal. Nadia worked her magic on Shay creating a gorgeously feminine bridal make-up look whilst Emily worked on Shay’s extremely long hair creating two looks. A soft elegant wave and a modern clean cut ponytail – highlighting the two elements within this collection.
Throughout the shoot our team Siobhan and Daniel made sure all of the veils, dresses and capes sat beautifully and styled each of the shots. We have always designed bespoke veils for our brides to wear alongside their bridal gown; Emotion is a collection to showcase our modern bridal veils that style with our silk wedding dresses, defining the Andrea Hawkes bride. The veil can enhance and compliment your wedding dress, add extra drama and detail. Creating two looks; a detailed veil styled with a simplistic modern wedding dress.
It was a wonderful day spent with lots of creative minds. Thank you to the amazing team involved!
