When is comes to bridal make-up we know it can be hard to know where to start. We have worked with Pamela & Andrea for 11 years, they have created stunning looks for most of our bridal shoots and have worked with many of our wonderful brides. Do you offer a trial makeup session, and how much does it cost?
Yes, although optional we do prefer to have a makeup trial session with our brides before hand, this gives us a chance to perfect the look for day and try out different ideas and products. Our trial session lasts 2.5 hours and we charge £150.
How do you handle different skin types and tones, especially for a wedding?
We have a wide variety of products that we have streamlined over the years, so we have something for everyone in our kits.
What products do you use, and are they suitable for sensitive skin?
We use a range of high end products including brands like Nars, Tom Ford, Armani Beauty, Danessa Myricks and many more. If someone’s skin is sensitive we find they usually know what there triggers are so we can avoid using those ingredients. We are also happy to use the clients skin care or makeup products if it is something they are very worried about.
Can you create a makeup look that will last throughout the entire wedding day?
Everyone’s skin is different and makeup does tend to last longer on some skin types more than others, this is why we like to hold a trial run before hand so we can asses how the makeup is working for the client and make any tweaks needed on the day.
How do you handle touch-ups throughout the day or between the ceremony and reception?
We do offer touch up services after the ceremony or before pictures, alternatively we always give our brides a list of touch up products to purchase with instructions how to use them.
Do you provide makeup services for the bridal party, and can you accommodate different preferences?
Yes we do offer makeup services to anyone else that requires this on the day, if the person has specific needs or would like to chat the makeup through with us before hand we are very happy to do this.

Our rates vary slightly depending on location, based on a regular local wedding we charge roughly £550 for 4 peoples makeup plus travel expenses.
Do you travel to the wedding venue, and are there any additional fees for this service?
We can travel to wherever we are needed, we charge 0.45p per mile if driving or any train tickets or taxi fayers needed.
What’s your go-to product that every bride should have in her makeup bag?
Lisa Eldridge Crystal Nebula highlighter.
Do you have a favourite bridal makeup trend right now? We are enjoying a pink flushed cheek at the moment.
What’s your secret to achieving a flawless, long-lasting bridal look?
Prepping the skin correctly for that skin type and thin layers of product is really important, we like to work in a patchwork sort of style rather than using lots thick layers of makeup.
How do you stay calm under pressure, especially on a busy wedding morning?
We really think it’s down to experience, we’ve had nearlly 15 years in the wedding industry so we think it’s something that comes naturally to us now.

We always give an in depth consultation on the trial run. We look at things such as usual makeup routine and personal clothing style, we ask a lot of questions to really get a feel for that person.
What’s the best part of your job as a bridal makeup artist?
Seeing what a confident boost makeup can give someone is really rewarding.
Can you recommend any skincare routines brides should start before the wedding?
Everyone is completely different so it really depends on the skin type and person. 1 thing any bride can do to improve their skin is to drink 3 litres of water a day, a week before the wedding, it’s a simple tip but it really work with hydration and plumping.
What’s your favourite beauty hack for a quick glow-up on the wedding day?
Re- fresh spray, re apply lipstick and pop a bit onto the cheeks using your finger tips and add a little powder through the t-zone for super quick makeup refresh.
How do you handle a bride who’s nervous or unsure about her makeup look?
Any concerns about the brides makeup would always be discussed either at or after the trial run, this ensures the smooth running of makeup application on the day with no surprises.
How do you keep up with the latest makeup trends and techniques?
We have our favourite makeup artists and makeup brands that we always keep a close eye on for anything new.
