“I am beyond pleased to be highly commended at the Marie Claire Sustainability Awards for ‘Best Sustainable Bridal Wear’
From day one as a start-up business, I always dreamt of making wedding dresses which are made in natural fabrics and having my own studio producing ourselves in London. 10 years after we started AH, we continue to focus on using natural fabrics and have since then introduced plant based materials to our collections. Our focus on the core values and being a sustainable brand has helped us to stand out in the bridal industry and this will take us through to a new decade here at AH.

I see and read so many examples of using recycled fabrics, renting dresses and re-wearing items, but to be recognised for the basic sustainability and ethical principles we started with and still regard as the centre point of our production 10 years on (of using natural fabrics and producing locally) is both important to us and to our industry.

“Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do here at AH and is really important to our brides. I meet with so many wonderful Brides-To-Be every day and being able to openly discuss our sustainability ethos is such a great way to connect and for our brides to feel completely at ease.
Being able to show our brides all of our natural silks, lace and plant based fabrics is always such a thrill and gives me a real sense of pride in what we do. Natural fabrics just speak for themselves and seeing our brides fall in love with a particular fabric is just incredible!
