A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Q&A evening last Thursday! It was so wonderful to meet you all to discuss your wedding plans and dress ideas. For those who were unable to attend here’s a little run down of the evening, hopefully you will be able to join us for the next one!
We started the evening with bubbles and a meet and greet! Catching up with all of our brides to be, we discussed wedding plans, dress ideas and browsed our designs. This gave our future brides a really lovely insight into the collection and the designs we have.
Rebecca was working on our pattern cutting table demonstrating how a dress pattern and toile is made, showcasing how all of our designs are made right here in our London Studio.
Then we moved on to our Q&A. Andrea spent some time talking through how to make the most of your bridal appointment and what to expect from trying on our designs. We also discussed pricing and services highlighting the different options we have here at AH from Standard Size through to Made to Measure and Bespoke.
We had lots of fun showing our brides to be what a toile is and how this can be part of your dress making process. A prototype of your dress that allows you to make amendments to designs and enables us to get an absolutely perfect fit!
Our brides loved seeing how we styled up some of our designs, from adding tops and capes through to veils and belts, Andrea demonstrated how you can truly make your dress your own through the use of accessories!
We then finished up with a Q&A (and goodie bags) where our brides asked many questions from timeframes through to fabric choices.
Our Designer Evenings are such a wonderful way to start your dress journey, a relaxed and informal look at our designs and services that gives you plenty of knowledge to then book an appointment at our studio!
