As part of our sustainability series our team here at AH wanted to show our past brides and brides-to-be some wearable, stylish and playful ways to rewear your wedding dress after your wedding day. Instead of selling your wedding dress or storing it away why not repurpose and enjoy wearing it for years to come? Our team are here to fully support you post wedding to ensure you get to wear your dress more than once!
We teamed up with Apee (our beautiful past bride) and sisters Disha and Yukti, founders of D.A.Y Boutique in Peckham who’s sustainability ethos aligns perfectly with our own, to create some achievable every day looks incorporating some of our AH wedding dresses. D.A.Y Boutique have a curated selection of unique brands and love to support their local community and independent designers. We used some contemporary pieces from their current collection to create these Autumn/Winter inspired looks.

We very luckily had a stunning sunny Autumnal day for our shoot with the very talented photographer Sophie, these shots were taken around the streets of Peckham, just a short walk from D.A.Y Boutique.
Look One
Bea Dress from our Finsbury Collection, Shortened to knee length by the AH Fitting Team.
Our bias cut Bea dress is the perfect layering piece. We wanted to add some warmth by layering it with this gorgeous ochre chunky knit, coat and knee high boots. This look would work well for or a nice walk and Sunday brunch with friends!

Look Two
Freya Dress, Lace panel removed and Shortened to ankle length by the AH Fitting Team
We wanted to add some textural details to our Freya silk dress, the silk satin reflects light so beautifully and we love how it contrasts with the quilting and wool fabrics of the waistcoat. Some heeled lace up boots elevate this look, remove the waistcoat and hat for a day to evening transitional look.

Kennedy Dress from our Identity Collection, Neckline changes, straps added and hem shortened to midi by the AH Fitting Team
The adapted neckline of our Kennedy dress works so well layered over a t-shirt or knit, we added a cosy element with this teddy vest and chunky boots. Another look that transitions well from day to evening.

The beauty of separating your wedding dress into a top and skirt is that you will get so much more wear from your design. This cami is a timeless classic that can become a staple in your everyday wardrobe, relax it down like this look with a cosy cardi, leather trousers and pea coat or dress it up with a skirt and heels for a party!

This look was created to show how you can use your dress without making any alterations at all. For a more formal event such as a wedding we love this 70’s inspired waistcoat, mules and hive bag.
